A YouTuber is seeking a superhuman with remarkable talents. He then becomes entangled in a perilous web of intrigues and unknown truths.
Weapon aims to combine superhero cliches with aspects of fantasy and ecological research. The film follows YouTuber Agni (Vasanth Ravi) on his journey to discover the truth about a little boy’s supposedly superhuman skills. The plot is told in flashbacks, beginning with Agni being kidnapped and interrogated by a masked guy known as Ghost.
Agni’s exploration leads up to a sinister group called the Black Society. It is commanded by the mysterious DK (Rajiv Menon). This society is made up of affluent and power-hungry individuals who strive to exploit the source of superhuman abilities. Agni’s own father (Sathyaraj) complicates matters by having a separate goal. Their life is ruined when Ram receives news that she has committed suicide in Coimbatore. Determined to uncover the truth, Ram adopts the alias Dawood Ibrahim and investigates the reasons behind his daughter’s death. His investigation exposes major scams, including a medical mafia and a forced prostitution ring, implicating powerful figures in the government and police. Now, Ram seeks retribution. The movie released on 10th May 2024. It also boasts a starry cast of Arjun Das and Tanya Ravichandran in the lead roles. The story revolves around Sadha and Soorya, who both have undergone distressing incidents in their past. All these events have deeply scarred them.
The former is a doctor, and the latter works in hotel management. Sadha’s figurative scar is both evident, and fans can explore its meaning. He walks with a limp, which is not readily explained.
